BrowserCam and Word Tracker’s Free Keyword Suggestion Tool
We have posted before about our delicious bookmark list. We try to add links there for the resources we find helpful and we encourage you to check out the list. But sometimes it’s hard to find the real gems, so today we’re starting what I hope will become a regular feature of highlighting specific entries from the delicious list. For the inaugural entry, we’re going to cover BrowserCam and the Free Keyword Suggestion Tool from Wordtracker.
BrowserCam is a commercial subscription service that will show a web site using a variety of browsers across varoius platforms. This is great for web design as you can see the finished site as it will look for users on different browsers on different operating systems without having to actually own and maintain all the different system configurations. BrowserCam also has a service that grants remote VNC access to the systems in case simple snapshots of the rendered web site are not sufficient for your testing requirements.
The second pick is the Free Keyword Suggestion Tool from Wordtracker. Wordtracker is a household name in the search engine optimization world. Their subscription services allow web designers a great insight into what keywords are being used in search engines so that sites can include the words that their customers are actually searching for in order to find them. The Free Keyword Suggestion Tool is a teaser that introduces potential subscribers to the benefits their service can offer them in the paid version.
Whlie the free tool does not offer all of the keyword research capabilities of the full service, it is a wonderful resource on its own and I don’t know of a better free keyword analysis tool. Check it out if being able to find your web site is important to you.
